Projek Olimpiad Matematik Puteri Malaysia (Projek MGMO) adalah suatu projek tahunan yang dianjurkan JKIMOM untuk memilih dan melatih murid-murid perempuan yang mempunyai kepakaran matematik yang tinggi untuk mewakili negara dalam pertandingan EGMO 2027 yang akan diadakan di Šibenik, Croatia. Projek ini merangkumi satu pusingan pemilihan berbentuk pertandingan matematik (MGMO) dan dua bengkel bersiri EGMO (BGMO).

Tujuan projek ini dianjurkan adalah untuk menyambut inisiatif EGMO untuk mengetengahkan murid-murid perempuan dalam arena Olimpiad Matematik. Hal ini berikutan kekurangan murid perempuan dalam kalangan peserta-peserta projek IMONST yang berjaya ke peringkat IMO. Malah di peringkat IMO sendiri, peratusan wakil-wakil perempuan adalah kurang daripada 15% daripada keseluruhan.

Dalam pertandingan ini, para peserta akan menjawab soalan-soalan Matematik Olimpiad. Pemarkahan dan pengumuman pemenang akan diberikan pada hari yang ditetapkan. Pemenang-pemenang akan berpeluang untuk mara ke bengkel EGMO dan ilmu Olimpiad Matematik daripada jurulatih-jurulatih wanita yang merupakan alumni IMO.

Hanya peserta yang menduduki ujian MGMO sahaja akan menerima sijil.

IMONST is a national-level Mathematical Olympiad that tests the talent and skills of students in problem-solving and mathematical thinking, with all the thrilling questions that will bring out the best in the students.

Fee: RM50 per participant

Competition Uptime: 8:00AM (28 August 2026) - 12:00PM (29 August 2026)

Competition Actual Duration :

Beginner and Pioneer - 1 Hour 30 Minutes

Junior and Senior - 2 Hours 30 Minutes

Competition Mode: Online

Language: English and Bahasa Melayu

IMONST categories: 

• Beginner: Standard 1 - 3 or Year 1 - 3, including Pre-School (6 - 9 years old)
• Pioneer: Standard 4 - 6 or Year 4 - 6 (10 - 12 years old)
• Junior: Form 1 - 3 or Year 7 - 9 (13 - 15 years old)
• Senior: Form 4 and above, including Pre-University students or Year 10 and above (16 - 19 years old)

Topics: Combinatorics, Geometry, Number Theory, Algebra

The paper format is as follows:

• Section A: 5 True or False Questions, each worth 1 mark.
• Section B: 5 Subjective Question, each worth 4 marks.
• Section C: 5 Subjective Question, each worth 6 marks.
• Section D: 5 Subjective Question, each worth 9 marks.

Each student will receive a grade based on their scores according to the following range:-

• Stellarity Grade (S) = 85 to 100 marks
• Excellence Grade (A) = 70 to 84 marks
• Honours Grade (B) = 60 to 69 marks
• Commendable Grade (C) = 50 to 59 marks
• Merit Grade (D) = 40 to 49 marks
• Participation Grade (E) = 0 to 39 marks

All IMONST participants will be eligible for PAJSK marks! All participants will be graded and receive physical and digital certificates.

IMONST winners will be able to represent Malaysia in various international mathematical competitions.
